A pregnant mother goes into labour in the middle of the night with no means of reaching a health facility. A child suffers a severe asthma attack far from emergency transport. A road traffic crash leaves a breadwinner critically injured as family members desperately search for help.

For millions of Kenyan families — particularly those in low-income settlements, rural communities and underserved areas — ambulance services remain unaffordable, inaccessible or unavailable when needed most.

How does the sponsorship work?
Through an annual contribution, you enable one or more families to be enrolled onto the Ambulex emergency response platform. When an emergency occurs, the family activates support through our emergency centre and receives ambulance dispatch, referral coordination, and healthcare navigation.
Families are identified through transparent community processes working alongside county governments, community health promoters, chiefs, healthcare facilities and local leaders. Priority is given to households facing the greatest barriers to emergency care.
Enrolled families gain access to emergency ambulance dispatch, referral coordination, emergency transportation support, medical advice through designated channels, navigation within healthcare systems, and linkage to relevant service providers — for one full year.
Corporate and large sponsors may indicate a preferred county or community. Individual sponsors contribute to a pooled fund that Ambulex directs toward the highest-need areas. Contact us if you have specific geographic preferences.
Yes. You can commit to adoption through a pledge and make payment arrangements within 30, 60 or 90 days. Partial payments are also accepted. Select "Pledge" or "Partial Payment" in the Adopt Now form.
All enrolled families are registered in the Ambulex system and tracked through secure data management. Every emergency response is documented. Sponsors receive regular reports on families enrolled, emergencies supported and outcomes achieved.
