Ambulex, a growing player in Kenya’s emergency services space
Access to timely emergency care remains a challenge across many communities in Kenya, where distance, traffic, and coordination gaps can mean the difference between life and loss.
At Ambulex, bridging this gap is at the core of our mission-using technology to connect people to life-saving support when it matters most.
This commitment was recently highlighted during the launch of the My Murang’a App, an initiative by the Murang’a County government aimed at improving access to public services through a single digital platform. While the app represents an important step toward e-governance, its true value will be seen in how it strengthens critical services like emergency response.
Ambulex is already advancing this vision by providing a mobile-based system that enables users to request emergency assistance in real time. During the Murang’a launch, our team went beyond participation-we actively engaged residents on how to respond in emergencies and demonstrated the importance of speed, awareness, and preparedness.
Our approach blends on-demand efficiency with community-centered care. From rapid ambulance dispatch to integrated features such as reporting gender-based violence (GBV), we are working to ensure that help is not only accessible, but also safe and responsive to real-life challenges.
However, innovation alone is not enough. For digital solutions to truly transform emergency care, they must be supported by public awareness, reliable infrastructure, and inclusive access for all-especially those in underserved areas.
The introduction of the My Murang’a App signals meaningful progress. But lasting impact will come from strong partnerships, continuous engagement, and a shared commitment to saving lives.
